Good Times During Tough Times

We at Perfect Silhouette Photography would love to send out a great thank you to everyone that accesses our site and decides to use us for their weddings, occassions and portait photography. We have truly been blessed in this tough economic time. So far, we have contracted 7 upcoming weddings for 2009 and a host of engagement and family portrait shoots. We look forward to working with many more during this year and welcome you with warm hearts and open arms. We strive to give you the best because you bring the best out of us. Earlier this year we worked with another photography company, but separated into two unaffiliated businesses. We hope they are doing well because thanks to you all, we are doing great.

Also, we were selected by an advertising company to appear in their ads and campaigns. We had not contacted them, but somehow they found us. It is true that good things come to those who wait. We shall post the advertising company's address once we finalize the ad and information. Truly, these are indeed Good Times During Tough Times.

May you all find good fortune and many reasons to laugh and smile. Thank you again for using us and passing along the word about Perfect Silhouette Photography.

Katie and Dustin

Katie and Dustin were very, very fun to work with. We all made each other laugh throughout the entire photo session. They were extremely comfortable in front of the camera and really compliment each other. They are a truly unique couple. I look forward to working with them again soon. May they have the best of luck and times together.

Two Hearts Share The Same Beat

Melvin and Keshia have weathered the best and worst of times, being there for one another. Rarely does an unshakeable love surface that is so obvious to all that are bystanders. I had the joy and privilege to share this day with them. Not just as a photographer, but also as a friend as I have grown to know them and see their love flourish. Wishing them the best of times and endless years together.

Out At The Creek

I met this wonderful couple by chance at Oyster Creek Park. I was taking photographs of all the people that were out that evening and I noticed how great these two looked together. So, I began to take a few shots and realized that they were so natural and comfortable together that they hadn't noticed me photographing them. Just look at how the images speak for themselves, showing how much fun and happiness theyr'e sharing together. I did eventually speak to them and they were great to talk with.
Thanks for such great, candid images.

Essence of a Picture.

Photographers may not be born as such, but through the human eye and imagination any and all can have a photographic quality and style all their own within their work. So what makes an image better than another? The eye of the beholder or they eye of the photographer? The beholder sees the image as it is, the photographer sees the image as it will be. Does equipment take an important role in quality or creativity, or is it just the person behind the camera shooting away until a magical image has been captured.
Where does the answer lie for great essence in a picture and composition? It lies in the heart and endless imagination of anyone that picks up a camera and decides to take a snap or two. It is released with every sigh and gesture that makes us thrive for perceived perfection that we may or may not witness according to our own definitions. Equipment can make a difference to some extent, but great equipment and lack of drive and determination would still equal to less than perfect.
To everyone taking pictures and cherishing moments, there is no right and wrong, teaching or learning, critiquing or criticism that can make an image as well as the essence you have put into your pictures. Keep snapping away for a long time to come.

Ms. Kelly

I had a blast working with Ms. Kelly! She was full of enthusiasm and possessed a delightful, heart warming and genuine personality. We met in Sugarland at this family oriented park and walking trail. She definitely has a knack for the camera as so many do, but for some pulling out the photogenic knack is the stickler. The shoot was a lot of fun for us both. Thanks so much Ms. Kelly for being a wonderful client.

Tonight I Celebrate My Love For You!

When love is present, everyone knows it is whether you tell them or not. This great couple knew that it was, so they allowed many of us to share it with them. Their wedding was a beautiful candle lit ceremony. A truly wonderful occassion.

Rahsaan & Kisha

There's just a magical presence apparent when a bride a groom have said their vows and present themselves for everyone to see.

I could tell immediately how eager they were to tie the knot.

This wonderful couple was a joy to work with and it helps when you have a relationship established with the bride and groom. Taking the footsteps with them through dating, engagement and marriage allowed me to reflect on the things that truly mattered in my own marriage and how lucky everyone is to find a special person to take shelter in their heart. Looking forward to many joyful and heartfelt years for them.

A Moment in Love!

Few things in Life are as moving and awe-inspiring as witnessing the Love shared by a couple and their courage to announce this before friends, family and strangers. I was honored and ecstatic to be able to photograph this wedding along with another photography team (which I was a member of priorly) and show the couple their day through our vision. This wedding took place on Valentine's Day (what a day to show your love to a special someone) and the colors plus the overall ambiance just radiated through the entire venue. Wishing them the best of luck and years of happiness together.
